Evil Crayon’s Cartoon of the Day for Friday, September 3, 2010… “The Straw That Broke The Camel’s Back.” It’s also “National Lazy Mom Day.”
A friend of mine sent me the link to evilcrayon.com. At first, I was scared. Then I became somewhat curious…followed by a little bit nauseous…slid towards being pleasingly apoplectic…finally, collapsing face down in a tepid pool of my own drool. With that being said, I have one question for Evil Bob, if that is your real name. What kind of camel is represented in your cartoon? Wild Bactrian Camel, Dromedary Camel, Bactrian Camel, F1 Camel, F2 Bactrian Camel, or is it a F2 Dromedary Camel. I think it would make your cartoon far more believable if the injured camel was identifiable. Your crude representation makes it difficult to determine the specific sub-species. As anyone who considers the camel nature’s greatest gift like I do we would appreciate a more detailed representation. Besides, everyone knows the Dromedary is forbidden by religious belief to testify in a court of law.
Al, perhaps you didn’t notice the small seemingly insignificant marking on the camel’s shoulder blade. The attached graphic should set you straight. As for the dromedary being forbidden to testify, you are 100% correct. However, the camel is the plaintiff and is not testifying; the straw is the defendant and has waived his or her 5th Amendment rights.
